Without a win on over two years, but showed some signs of encouragement last time out when 4th of 11 at Ayr when 10/1. Has fallen a further 3lbs in the weights for that run and is now below his last winning mark. This race looks quite open on paper and you could make a case for a number of runners but the data suggests the value is with this one.
THE FLYING SEAGULL – 18:30 Wolverhampton – 7/1* EW
First appearance in over six months, with his last all-weather run being last Easter when he finished 2nd of 10 when 15/2. Off the same mark here and if he has found any sort of improvement during his time off then he looks well shaped to one better this time around. Was around 12/1 when the market opened earlier today but there could still be more value to come.
BRODIES BOY – 20:00 Wolverhampton – 10/1* EW
Just the one win to his name so far but what makes this one interesting here is his form at this track of late, missing out by less than a length on his last two appearances over course and distance and has slipped in the weights since those last two efforts. 10/1 looks a massive price considering those runs previously here were at odds of 7/2 and 3/1F.
